The Rulebook
These are the basic rules regarding the racing held at MV.
NOTE: Editing the white part of the eye to make it show up properly is not considered editing the pose. Therefore this IS allowed. Editing poses is not, I repeat IS NOT under ANY circumstance acceptable.
- You are permitted to include one of the approved backgrounds that can be found in the Racing Guide Book section below the forum. You may also include shadows to make your dogs look like they are part of the scene. These are the ONLY things you may do in terms of editing.
- It is up to you to keep track of your dogs/teams collected points. HOWEVER, all races are kept for further viewing and reference on the Archives board.
- The word of the judges is final. Do not fuss, do not show bad sportsmanship. It's lame and it spoils the fun for everyone else.
- Regarding reusing photos, it's fine as long as they are being seen by different judges. If you are entering two races held by the same judge, you will need two different sets of photos.

Points and Titles
Note: It is your responsibility to track the titles of your dogs. HOWEVER. This is a mighty big "however" so please make a note to yourself. As all races are saved in an archive, it is possible to go back and double check who's teams/dogs placed where. So please be accurate and don't cheat your titles.
Sled Dog Titles
Listed below are the titles your dogs will receive as they earn points throughout their adventures at the Mountain View Races. Please don't forget that for these titles, it is your responsibility to keep track of your team's records.
SD (sled dog): Must have participated and placed either 1st, 2nd or 3rd in at lease 3 races.
SDX (sled dog excellent): Must have participated in 3 NEW races, placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all three. Dogs must have already achieved their SD titles in order to get this title.
SDU (sled dog unlimited): Must of have participated in 3 NEW races, placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all three. Dogs must have already achieved their SDX titles in order to get this title.
