Titles and other

1) We should give some titles to the dogs. My suggest is to create a sistem like this (but it can be changed in some way..):
Reserve champion - 10pts
Champion - 30pts
Grand Champion - 50pts
Multi Champion - 70pts
World Champion - 100pts

2) to add races with unlimited entries in the race and 3 teams per person maximum (like in RL). People can enter in it during the week and then on Sunday (for example) tadam! It is a race and results will be posted. But not only 3 places, at least 5.

3) We should have a raiting list for 4 seasons. To open a topic in the forum and write there all team names that entered in races and points of that TEAM. And we should decide, can peoples change dogs in their teams (if they have more than 1 team) or not. Every season we should rate the best teams. Maybe we are not have to award them, it is just for fun!

4) to draw the backgrounds for summer season (it is not necessary now because it's winter! but anyway for the future..)

5) every year we should pick the best musher (who has the most succesful teams) and the best DOG. Dogs can gain their points in races and contests that you are going to open. And to pick the best team of the year?

6) to praise us! mushers ;D to write under awatars (?) or in other place: novice musher, master musher, something like this!

here is what I can suggest! You can make this forum really veeery interesting!!! But all additions should be discussed of course

1. I love the idea of titles, I'll work something up for this!

2. More races will be added with more entry positions as we grow. I have the start and end dates on days when I know I will be around to check in, answer questions and judge! I want to make sure that this forum is fun for everyone including myself! ^^

3. My only problem with keeping track of other peoples points is that, should this site become popular (which I'm really hoping), there will be many teams with many mushers and counting points will become an all consuming thing for me... I will see if I can work out an easy system for keeping track of points.
I like the idea of rating the teams and having a prize for the most accomplished team!

4. There will be summer races on different backgrounds to keep things going. Shows will also be opened along with different activities/races for dog teams.

5. Team of the year sounds pretty cool! I like the idea of having something like that!

6. Mushers should also earn points as they win races I think. Sounds good! Then as their points increase, they earn titles!

You're on a role! I love it! Great suggestions and ideas! I'm gonna get started on implementing these ASAP! ^^

The pointing system could go like this. This is how it's done on a dog SIM I play.

SD (sled dog)
-- accumulate 50 miles over at least 3 races

SDX (sled dog excellent)
-- accumulate an additional 100 miles over at least 3 NEW races.
------ To get this title the dog will need to already have achieved the SD title.

SDU (sled dog unlimited)
-- accumulate an additional 300 miles over at least NEW 3 races.
------ To get this title the dog will need to have already achieved the SDX title.



This could go by each individual dog obviously but it would be the mushers job to keep track of it and stuff.
